Production Assistant of the Year Award
Kung may ganitong category sa kahit anong award giving body, hindi ako magdadalawang isip na inominate ang sarili. Sa loob ng halos 6 na buwan, kahit na mahigit 100 episodes palang ng isang daily show ang nagagawa ko, feeling ko isa na akong beteranong Production Assistant sa hirap ng sakripisyong binigay ko. Ang pasukin lang ang isang bagay na alam mong hindi mo naman gusto pero alam mo ding nageexcell ka pa rin dito, isang malaking award na dapat ang katumbas. Idagdag mo pa na gumagawa ka ng mga bagay na hindi naman parte ng job description mo. Pero siyempre gagawin mo yun para sa ikagaganda ng show niyo.
Ang mahirap lang, parang unappreciated pa yung pagod mo, dedication, yung mga araw na wala kang tulog, tapos babansagan ka pang ‘sinungaling’ behind your back. Isang false accusation. Walang Basis. Walang Pruweba. Sobra na. Hindi ka na nga masaya sa ginagawa mo, hindi ka lalong gaganahan sa trabaho mo kung ganun ugali ng katrabaho mo.

Angola beauty is 2011 Miss Universe; Shamcey is 3rd runner-up
via ABS-CBN NewsMiss Angola’s Leila Lopes was crowned Miss Universe for 2011 in the competition held in Sao Paulo, Brazil Monday night (Tuesday morning in Manila). Shamcey Supsup, a 25-year-old beauty from the Philippines, was the third runner-up for the pageant.
Tony Award winner Lea Salonga asked Lopes the final question that would help her win the pageant. She asked Lopes: “If you could change one of your personal characteristics, which one would it be and why?”
Lopes replied: “Thank God, I’m very well satisfied with the way God created me and I would not change a thing. I consider myself a woman with inner beauty. I have my principles. I have acquired many wonderful principles from my family and I plan to follow this through the rest of my life.”
Supsup, meanwhile, was one of the strongest contestants in the competition, placing first in the final fan rankings. In the crucial question and answer portion, she said she would not change her religion just to marry the person she loves.
“If I had to change my religious beliefs, I would not marry the person that I love because the first person that I love is God who created me and I have my faith and my principles and this is what makes me who I am. And if that person loves me, he should love my God too,” Supsup said.

honestly. para sakin. kung ikukumpara sa ibang schools, parang super mas konti ang mga supporters ng NU. pero ako, honestly, aside from UP, inaabangan ko ang NU. last year kasi, super nag improve sila. and kanina, nag improve muli sila. kanina nga, malinis yung routine nila. wala akong nakitang bumagsak na stunts. pero 6th lang sila. ineexpect ko kasi ay pang 4th or 5th sila. or even 3rd. mga ganun. ay ewan.
I don’t think so.
NU’s crowd was actually bigger than La Salle’s. Audience impact or participation is just 10 or 20 points of the possible 100.
